This would be a fun activity for Easter.  You can use questions about the events of Passion Week.  Each year, you can pull it out and use it during your Easter celebration.

Use this Flip book as a model for Q & A for your child’s studies. Write the question on the outside of the flip and the answer behind the flip page. Change the colors to suit your child and the topic of the book.

I love to scrapbook during the Christmas holidays.  Here’s a great tip to use with your scrap pieces of paper.  It’s from Sparkle N Sprinkle.

Storing cardstock scraps
Instead of throwing away or putting them all in a box, store your small and odd sized cardstock scraps in FOUR SIDED manila file folders so they won’t fall out. You will save money since they will be organized, easy to find and you won’t be tempted to grab a whole new sheet for a small job. Label them by colors: “Purple, Pink, Red”, “Orange & Yellow”, “Brown & Black”, etc. This will also work for specialty paper scraps, stickers, die cuts, etc. Reserve one folder just for junk pieces of cardstock that you can use for testing markers, embossing powders, paints, inks, etc. In other words, “WASTE NOTHING!!!”

Need a certain color of ribbon?
Always keep a supply of white ribbon on hand in case you don’t have exactly the color you want. Run the ribbon over a DYE ink pad of your choice and allow it to dry.

I’ve been in heaven today as I browsed many new sites that have really cool card ideas.  My daughters and I are hosting a bridal shower for a friend of ours and I wanted to make a unique invitation.  Sooooo….I’ve found tons of stamping and card websites.  It’s been eye-candy for me!

As I perused the sites a found a fantastic cause for moms and their kids.  It’s called Cards for a Cause and I plan to donate some cards!  All the cards go to patients at St. Judes Hospital.  You can read all about it at A Muse News  If you don’t know how to make a card, choose one of their kits that gives you supplies for 10 cards.  There are links on the same page.

Well, I just had to pass this great idea along to all of you.
