If I print these 3 books, I will probably have to charge at least $20 for each paperback title. That’s 3 books for a total of $60. I don’t want you to have to spend that much money to get this life-changing information. Steve and I talked about the price and this is what we decided.
The price will begin at $27 on Tuesday, August 28 (12noon EST). Every 48 hours, the price will increase by $5, until Saturday, September 1st. At that time, the price will remain at $37 for the Raising Leaders Book Set.
Raising Leaders, Not Followers Package:
Raising Leaders, Not Followers ($20)
Teach Your Children “How to Think” with Mentoring ($20)
Hop Off the Conveyor Belt ($20)
For the entire week, you will also receive (for FREE) the following items:
* Classic Book Lists (value $10)
Children’s Classic List
Youth Classic List
Adult Classic List
* Straight Talk to Parents & Teens from Homeschool Graduates, by Jim Erskine (value $5)
* Schedules & Lists for Raising Leaders, Not Followers: Help for the Harried Homeschooler (value $10)
* Raising Leaders, Not Followers - Audio & Transcript (value $25)
* Teach Your Children “How to Think” with Mentoring - Audio & Transcript (value $25)
TOTAL VALUE of $135 (for as little as $27)
BUT WAIT…there’s more
For One Week, I’ll be giving you some extra bonuses. Here’s the beginning of what you will get:
Character Copywork & Dictation (value $17)
Let’s Get Organized (value $27)
Teaching Writing (value $27)
Weekly Bonuses so far are $71
That brings the TOTAL VALUE of the Entire Leadership Package for the WEEK to $206. You can grab it for $27 and still get the 24 hour bonuses (TBA). You’re saving over 85%. You just can’t get any better than that!
SOOOO what does this mean? Here is a chart of the price…

My middle daughter was drinking water with her breakfast this morning, so I asked her if she drank water at camp for breakfast. After telling me they made the campers drink water before each meal, she remarked that she took her water bottle to Woodworking every day.
Steve was snickering in the other room. He said it sounds funny to think my 17 year old daughter was the shop teacher at camp…oh no!
“Hey, we made it fun. We had water fights all the time”
Steve says he can’t imagine her using a saw.
“I never used the saw. I just held the boards for the guy that ran the shop. I taught all the campers how to hammer. I don’t do anything with the machines”
Steve found all this amusing, especially since he is a carpenter by trade. We had a good laugh about it.

Hunter & Gentry get Brandon Morrow to sign their baseballs after getting JJ Putz’ signature. Both were closing pitchers for the 2 previous games against the White Sox. We also got to see Morrow close at our game. All winning games!

One concern I have heard from homeschool moms is why am I releasing these books. Why not print them as paperbacks?
This is such an important issue that I covered it on my Start School Webinar.
If you heard my workshop on Tuesday night, you heard me address this very issue! I really want to print these in a real book format. But, there are a few drawbacks for homeschoolers if I do this.
1. Printed books take awhile to get to you…by the time we do all the prep work, send them to the printer and print. I can’t wait that long to get this information to you.
2. Printed books will be much more expensive if I print them right now. When you do a short run print of books, the cost is much higher per book (unlike books by big printing companies - Penguin Putnam, Random House, etc). The cost of your ink & paper will be much less than the total cost of printed books at this time.
3. The entire package will be much more expensive, with all the bonuses I have for your - audio workshops, transcripts of the workshops, bonus books. Making physical products is quite expensive.
4. I can send you an update without charging you for a new book. That’s what is happening tomorrow. Everyone who has already bought Raising Leaders, Not Followers will receive the updated editions. It’s a win-win situation.
I want to be fair with your pocketbook. I know it is expensive to raise children and educate them at home. I truly believe the value of this Leadership Package will far outweigh the price.
One Tip: When I print ebooks, it takes very little of my time. I put the paper in the printer. I find the file on my computer and tell it to print. I walk away and do something with my children. When I return, voila, the book is printed. Only a few minutes used. When my husband reads aloud to our family, I hole-punch those pages and put them in a binder. (Or one of my children volunteer to hole-punch)
Multi-Tasking is wonderful because my time is very valuable, too!!!
Thanks for bringing up this issue.

Whoa!
We had a full call for last night’s Start School Right webinar to introduce the Raising Leaders, Not Followers Package. I discussed why most children in America receive an education designed for the poor and what type of education your child is receiving. I also shared the pitfalls of the way most of us homeschool, benefits of Leadership Education, stages of leadership education in your homeschool, and practical tips for you.
I was shocked how many people we had and where they all lived.
By far one of the biggest concerns is the price, as I discussed last night. I will be announcing the price on this blog Friday, August 24. In the meantime, take a look at what the package includes
The Leadership Package includes: (value $85)
Raising Leaders, Not Followers: Biblical Perspective of Leadership Education (ebook)
Train Your Children ‘How to Think’ with Mentoring (ebook)
Hop Off the Conveyor Belt-Tips & Stories (ebook)

Words from Homeschool Grads (ebook)
Scheduling to Get Started (ebook)
Bonuses with the Regular Leadership Package (value $50)
Raising Leaders Workshop (mp3 & transcript)

WOW!!!
I had so much fun giving the Start School Right webinar tonight. My family was laughing at how much I enjoyed it. Plus, I got to use our new, cool pen and write on the screen. It was just like writing on the chalkboard when I was a schoolteacher…I mean homeschool mentor
Thanks for all your encouraging comments. I hope to have the recording posted soon for those who missed it.
