Even people who rarely pick up their camera during the year, take pictures at Christmas. We all want to capture the warm memories of family and friends that Christmas brings.
Too often though, we forget to take pictures of the very things that our memories are made of getting the Christmas tree, baking, decking the halls, or the tree lit up at night after Santa has filled it with presents!
Don’t forget meaningful memorabilia like your annual Christmas letter or Christmas card, Christmas pageant programs and letters to or from Santa.
Keep your pages simple and fast to create by selecting a theme and carrying it through all your pages. For instance pick a solid or subtle background in red, green or black and use it on all your Christmas Scrapbook pages. Pick another color to mat all your photos. Use the same color pen to journal your Christmas memories. You can add some uniqueness to each page with stickers, die-cuts or other embellishments.
Christmas activities that are a part of your family traditions, perhaps going back several generations are priceless. Be sure to take pictures of all your traditions and capture them in a family album for future generations to share.
